Terms of Service

Last updated September 6, 2026.

This is a starter Terms of Service for Wake With Grace. Please review it with your own legal counsel before launch. It is a starting point, not final legal text. By using Wake With Grace you agree to these terms.

1. Using Wake With Grace

Wake With Grace serves a daily passage of Scripture with a short reflection and three practices. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and to give us accurate answers when you set up your reading — the reflection you are served is chosen from them.

2. Not pastoral or clinical care

Wake With Grace is a devotional companion. It is not counselling, therapy, medical advice, or spiritual direction, and it is not a substitute for any of them. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a pastor, a clinician, or your local emergency services.

3. Our content

The reflections and practices are ours, and are licensed to you for your own personal, devotional use. You are welcome to share a verse or a line with a friend; you may not republish the content as a whole, or use it to train a model.

Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain.

4. Your content

What you tell us about your season stays yours. You grant us the permission needed to store it and to use it to choose what you are served, which is the whole of what we do with it.

5. Beta software

Wake With Grace is currently in a private beta. Features may change, break, or disappear, and data may occasionally be lost. We provide the beta on an as-is basis and are grateful for your patience and your feedback.

6. Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google and renew automatically until cancelled. You manage and cancel them in your App Store or Play Store account settings, not here; refunds are handled under those stores' own policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Wake With Grace is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wake With Grace and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, or by writing to us. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Wake With Grace means you accept the updated terms.
